About BeamFest Society

BeamFest is a community-led, not for profit organisation based in Newton-Le-Willows, dedicated to supporting grassroots music, celebrating local talent and bringing people together through live music and the arts.

The society grew from BeamFest, an annual music festival held at the Sunbeam Hotel. BeamFest was originally formed by Dean & Lisa Hill in the early 2000's and they still play a huge part in the festival today.

Our aim is to create opportunities for musicians and artists, encourage creativity and make live music accessible to everyone. Through festivals, performances, fundraising and community events, we hope to support a thriving local music scene and provide a welcoming space for people to connect.

Our Home - The Sunbeam Hotel

The Sunbeam is a much-loved local pub in Newton-le-willows and the home of the festival. With its welcoming atmosphere, live music sessions and support for local performers, The Sunbeam has become a place where musicians, music lovers and the wider community come together. It is the spirit of friendship, creativity and shared experiences that helped inspire BeamFest and continue to shape the society today.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: music brings people together.
